Earnings ReportITmedia Inc. <2148> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) after the market closed on October 31st (17:00). The consolidated net income for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September) decreased 17.0% from the same period last year to 0.52 billion yen. Progress toward the full-year plan of 1.50 billion yen was 34.8%, also falling below the five-year average of 45.9%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated net income for the October to March period (second half) is expected to grow 12.8% from the same period last year, reaching 0.97 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated net income decreased to 0.28 billion yen, a 22.9% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin decreased from 25.3% in the same period last year to 20.3%.
